Cyprus Tourism Organisation

The Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) is the national tourism organisation of Cyprus. It is responsible for the promotion, development and leadership of the tourism industry.

CTO was established and operates according to the provisions of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation Law of 1969 - 1999 and the related Regulation on Structure and Terms of Employment and Administration and Finance.

The Organisation’s objective according to the law is to organise and promote Tourism within the Republic by using all possibilities and resources available.

CTO is administrated by a nine-member Board of Directors and consists of the Director – General’s Office and four Departments:

  • Administration
  • Accounts and Registry Department
  • Tourist Organisation Department (Planning)
  • Promotion and Tourist Services Department

The Organisation’s offices and departments offer their services at:

  • The Head Offices
  • The Local Regional Offices
  • The overseas Regional Offices

The Organisation operates offices both in Cyprus and abroad. The Head Offices are based in Lefkosia while there are Regional Offices in other towns (Lefkosia, Lemesos, Larnaka, Agia Napa, Protaras, Pafos, Kato Pafos, Larnaka Airport, Pafos Airport, Lemesos Port, Germasogeia, Platres and Polis Chrysochous).

There are also six inspector’s offices operating in Lefkosia, Lemesos, Larnaka, Pafos, Agia Napa and Polis Chrysochous.

Moreover, CTO has active offices in twenty major cities worldwide (London, Dublin, Frankfurt, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm, Helsiniki, Athens, Milan, Zurich, Brussels, Amsterdam, Vienna, New York, Moscow, Tel Aviv, Budapest, Prague, Warsaw and Dubai)
